Back in September we mentioned the good work of the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC) in recovering remains of missing American military, and they’ve done it again (This time it is 2nd Lt. Ray D. Packard, U.S. Army Air Forces, of Atwood, CA.) Here’s an excerpt from an article I just read:

We just received word that there will be a P-38 featured in the Heritage Flight at the Amigo Airsho (no misspelling, that’s how they spell it?) in El Paso, TX this weekend, Oct 4-5. Their website indicates that the P-38 in question is “Porky II” to be flown by Steve Hinton — however, that 38 [...]
