We just got the “official” word that the Red Bull P-38 is still, in fact, here on American soil.
That was Nelson Ezell who did the fly over in this beautiful plane at Lefty Gardner’s funeral service last Monday.
She will be back in Dallas/Breckenridge on January 23rd for final tweaks and adjustments before the trip to Austria.
Now you know what I know!

Wonderful shot of the P-38 of which we over here in Europe never thought we would see again after the TFC loss of 1997, although we had a ray of hope when ‘GG’ tried hard to make it accross the ‘Pond’ but was not to be. Looking forward to seeing this aircraft whilst out and about for warbirdworld somewhere in Europe this year.
