Several of our members are going to be involved in the “Living History Flying Day” at the Planes of Fame in Chino, CA, on April 4 — including two of our P‑38 combat pilots: Jack “Fox” Olson and Thomas “Ox” Oxford.
It will be on Saturday, April 4, 2009 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and will include a P‑38 Lightning Flight Demonstration, presumably with their P-38 “23 Skidoo.”
Complete details are available on the Planes of Fame website, including directions if you need them. (Their address is: 7000 Merrill Avenue, Chino, CA 91710, and any questions should be directed to them.)
