Just a quick heads up to let you know that we just heard that “23 Skidoo” (the P-38 out of the Planes of Fame in Chino, CA) will be flying in a heritage flight this weekend, April 18-19, at the Air Show & Open House at Beale AFB — just north of Sacramento, CA.

Just found some great cockpit photos taken at the recent P-38 event at the Planes of Fame in Chino. They were taken by “Larry” and are really worth a look. The cockpit exhibit was built by Lee Northrop of the 475th FG Historical Foundation (I think their website is under repair).
