I ran into Bob Cardin (Project Manager on the Glacier Girl Expedition) this past Saturday at the Planes of Fame Air Show in Chino, and Bob mentioned that the only two air shows they have currently scheduled this year for “Glacier Girl” are Reno and Oshkosh. Thought you guys would want to know, so you can make plans accordingly.

Any thoughts on Glacier Girl making the CAF airshow in Midland, Texas this Oct. 2009 airshow? A lot of folks would love to see her, here at the Big Crowds it makes every year…..

Ok… thanks, the last time I recall a P38 was seen at the CAF airshow in Midland, Texas was Lefty’s White Lightning attending, been several years now. Glacier Girl sure is a beautiful P38. Maybe someday she will get to come to West Texas. Thanks so much for keeping us informed.

i was in your great country in 85 and went to that blooody great air show……..OSHKOSH………..the concorde was there………..blooody wow………….what a beautifull lady……………….i still look out 4 the air show on this machine……………..still great of course//////////////////alan bull/////////////////in cold aussie///////////
