FYI, Glacier Girl is back at the Planes of Fame in Chino, CA, for some repairs and is expected to be there until the 17th, when the 475th Fighter Group is dedicating their P-38 Hangar.

We’ve received word that Glacier Girl has left Chino and is heading to Fallon, NV. Our understanding is that she will be viewable there until Friday, when she leaves for the Sacramento air show.

Warbird Depot is offering a monthly aviation calender which you can download free of cost to use as your computer’s desktop wallpaper. This month (May 09) happens to be the P-38.

Just found some great cockpit photos taken at the recent P-38 event at the Planes of Fame in Chino. They were taken by “Larry” and are really worth a look. The cockpit exhibit was built by Lee Northrop of the 475th FG Historical Foundation (I think their website is under repair).
